memoirs of a cryptic mind

His eyes shine like moonlight. Around his lips, the smiling curve shimmers - caressed by the orb of the Moon's love.
waltzing memories
Dedicated to my father

I can feel it starting to beat in the depths of my heart.
Something small but significant, but I'm not certain what it wasA pinning melancholy
Was it here since the 23rd of June?
How do I deal with this on my own?
Can I heal it on my own?So I try to remember your face
I know it's difficult, but the lightness grows.I run wild to the sea under the moonless sky.
All the memories came flooding back. I asked myself, "Why?"
Nobody knows why my heart ebbs and flows; all I know is that I'm just trying to get by.Life isn't what it seems.
I find the message in my dreams.
It's as if a long-forgotten memory is whispering secrets just for me.So I cry in the night.
For something I found in my heart
In the dead of night, a bright star in the sky directs my way home.
I know I'll see you again if I call your name.
I'll remember I am not alone. So I try to remember your face
This place
I know it's difficult, but the lightness grows.
I remember

Just as we attend a movie in a theater, visit an art exhibition, watch a play, or read a book, I strongly believe there are numerous advantages to engaging our imagination and taking a brief respite from life's more mundane and distressing aspects—to breathe deeply and exist in a different realm for a while. It's about embracing a touch of romanticism in our daily lives, perceiving each day as a new chapter in an enchanting tale. Our view of reality is like looking through a keyhole; there's so much more beyond. Most people miss out on the fact that their dream world is a crucial piece of their whole experience. Even though it happens while we sleep, dreaming is an active part of our lives, shaping who we are.Looking back on my childhood, I clung to the idea of unicorns with all my might. Anyone who dared doubt them faced my fierce defense. However, as a young adult, I've come to realize that their physical existence is not crucial. Instead, they exist in our world through art, ideas, and stories—they are part of our reality.Likewise, healthy escapism isn't about escaping at all, but about expanding the richness of our lives. Perhaps the key lies in embracing one's passions and determining not just where but how one wants to live, starting at this very moment. By embracing life's challenges, growing as individuals, and finding beauty in all aspects of our experience, we unlock a powerful source of potential. The greatest reward in adopting this perspective is that it revolves around cultivating a more positive and hopeful outlook. Our life story transforms into a legacy encompassing not only our actions but also the connections we form with others. It is necessary to comprehend our reality, including its tragedies and heartaches, to fully understand and contemplate how we can contribute to positive change. At the same time, we can't lose sight of our dreams. We need to keep imagining a brighter future and actively work towards building peace. By holding onto our dreams, even when others lose faith, we contribute to a more meaningful life for ourselves and everyone around us.
stars chase the sun

I think comparison is a tendency we all have. Why isn't my life more exciting? Why do they get to have that when I don't? Why is it that I can work hard and still not earn everything I wish for? Life can be rather fickle that way. I suddenly became acutely aware of how free other people seemed and romanticized their ability to live with so much ease and joy in their own bodies. In contrast, I felt like I could barely live with myself. I wanted so deeply to have inner peace that it felt like everyone was happier than I was, and it was incredibly unfair. But that wasn't true, at least not in the way I believed. And now I think it's a pity that I spent so much time comparing when I could have taken inspiration from those very same people. I didn't want their lives, not really. I wanted the happiness I believed they possessed. A lot of these feelings, when unpacked, reveal so much about ourselves. If you are chasing something external to feel at peace with yourself, the cycle seems to never end. But it was our choice when we said, "No, this is enough." I am content with the way things are. If there is one thing I learned from these experiences and the personal growth that was required to overcome them, it is that becoming the person you want to be is rarely a linear path. It's a cycle of forward and backward movement that slowly gets you to a good place. It takes time. And while we don't know that we're there yet, we know that it will get easier.
crestfallen

Her voice used to hold a soft, comforting warmth, a quality she rarely used anymore. Time had buried that gentleness, leaving only a faint echo. Now, her priorities and life had hardened her speech, turning it sharp and strong. Her words were like chiseled stone, each one carrying weight. Anything less forceful seemed dull, as if her own tongue judged her thoughts unfit for speech and stopped them before they could fully form.
four seasons

In her, he found the seasons' rhyme,
A tale of love that stood the test of time.
With her smile, the spring's first sprouts did gleam,
And winter's snowflakes danced within her dream. Her laughter, a touch of summer's grace,
In her skin's radiance, he found his place.
The warmth of her, so sublimely divine,
Summer's embrace in every glance did shine. But no matter how the sun would climb,
In the end, she'd return like autumn's chime.
Each time, he fell, in love's sweet, endless rhyme,
For in her, he found all seasons, all in time.
about
This blog is just for fun, not to be taken too seriously. I intend for the words that I create to provoke an emotional response, to have an impact, and I express these words that I value for others to read and appreciate. I find every writer has their own unique way of writing, which is both subtle and powerful at the same time. Writing has been my source of comfort and solace, allowing me to express my thoughts and feelings in ways I never thought possible. It has allowed me to explore my creativity and push the boundaries of my imagination. Hence, if you have stopped by, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read every work I have written. From my shore to yours,
Graciella
